In 1987, the Parliament of Navarre approved the creation of the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) in Pamplona and Tudela, Spain. In the 2023-2024 academic year, 10,161 students studied at UPNA. UPNA offers 27 bachelor's, 36 master's and 16 doctoral programs.
